Lindemans 2011 Hunter Valley Semillon

This would have been the first semillon I ever bought. It would probably have been the 1975 vintage and it certainly wouldn't have been labelled Semillon. It was either Hunter Valley Riesling, White Burgundy or Chablis but they were all Semillon. Thank goodness one of the iconic names in Australian wine is still producing THE Australian white. And for what it's worth the label is truly beautiful. It pays homage to the past while eliminating its mess of typefaces.

Our Price: $15 per bottle by the dozen
