Belgravia 2006 Reserve Merlot

This is the latest offering from David Lowe who many of you would remember from the Hunter Valley. This one's from Orange and if it's any indication everywhere else in Australia should stop bothering with the variety. Apparently vintage conditions were perfect in 2006 so this may be as good as it gets but who cares? This is a cracker to be enjoyed over the next 5 years.
There's plenty of power but it's the complexity that really appeal. There are layers of fruit and tannins which seem to reveal something new with every sip. Top red easily delivering $25+ quality.

Our Price: $18 per bottle by the doz
